For the last day I was about to spend in New York City I decided to take things slowly and sleep all morning. Felt really refreshing and by noon I was ready to go to the subway again to meet with my host. He had offered to show me through Little Italy and Chinatown since both neighbourhoods are close to where he works. (more…)

I was out on my own again on Monday and it seems like every time I hit the streets alone, the weather changes rapidly. While the New York weather was very nice, sunny and warm, over the weekend, which was actually pretty good because we spent a lot of time outdoors, on Monday there was a drizzling rain right from the start of the day. He took me to a small coffee shop afterwards where we had a very delicous coffee indeed while we were eating what we got at the bakery. (more…)

Finally I have some time to write something here as I wasn’t able to do anything over the past few months. Ever since I got back from my trip to Japan I was drowning in work and, to be honest, I wasn’t feeling like writing stuff on this blog anyway. But, hey, now I have some free time again and I’m in Canada right now. (more…)
