I was out on my own again on Monday and it seems like every time I hit the streets alone, the weather changes rapidly. While the New York weather was very nice, sunny and warm, over the weekend, which was actually pretty good because we spent a lot of time outdoors, on Monday there was a drizzling rain right from the start of the day. Before I went on the trip me and my hosts were trying to figure out what to do so we ended up going to a soccer match which to me was especially interesting since I’m always interested in how the game is celebrated in other countries. He bought tickets for the ultras supporter section which were seats, but anyway. We met up with three friends of his and set out for New Jersey which is where the stadium is located. (more…)

For Saturday the weather was brilliant and in the afternoon me and my host were to go to watch a soccer match (about which I will write in a separate posting). But before that we set off to the south of Brooklyn to go to Coney Island. (more…)

The second day of my trip looked rather dull since it had been raining all night and there wasn’t any chance of the rain stopping any time soon.
