The playoffs in both leagues are in full swing and while the American MLB already decides who will play in the World Series, their Japanese counterparts have just started their road to the championship with the Climax Series in both Leagues. In the Pacific League the Nippon Ham Fighters of Hokkaido reached the next round by beating the Orix Buffaloes and in the Central League the Hanshin Tigers (阪神タイガース), who led the League for a long time before being taken over by the Yomiuri Giants, face off against last year’s champions, the Chuunichi Dragons (中日ドラゴンズ).

It has been quite some time since I have been to two shows on two days straight. The reason for such a long intervall inbetween such occansions is simple: there basically aren’t that many good shows in Cologne and the surrounding cities anymore. At least no shows that would interested me enough to go there. Last night was different though.

So after just eight months Mr Votolato returned to Cologne for yet another show. Which was perfectly fine with me since I missed most of his last performance in February due to many people I hadn’t seen in a long time and who I wanted to talk to which resulted in me standing in front of the venue most of the time. This time though I was determined to stay for the whole set and I wasn’t disappointed by what I got to see and hear.
