The Red Sox swept the Angels last night moving on to the ALCS. Their opponent is still uncertain since the Indians lost to tne Yankees in New York. Although starter Roger Clemens had to leave the mound after only 2 1/3 innings because of an injury and although being behind 1-3 they still came back winning the game 8-4 and getting the series at 1-2. Johnny Damon hit a three-run homerun in the fifth and Clemens’ replacement Phil Hughes played 3 2/3 shut out innings. (more…)
