Koushien: High school student involved in sexual harassment accusations

I was trying to figure out what was behind a posting on the Koushien community on mixi.jp which read something like “incident involving players of team” (my Japanese is just not sufficent enough yet), but today I got the explanation for what was happening. Apparently a player from Kiryu Daiichi, a school from the Gunma prefecture, is accused of sexually harassed a girl. Because he wasn’t a regular on the team the principal of the school hopes that his team which is scheduled to play its first round match on August 6th against Kanazawa Koukou from Ishikawa won’t have to suffer any consequences from the incident.
